| We enjoy hearing from people all over the world who are subscribing to our podcasts and recently we had a real treat when one of our subscribers, Stanley Bay School, came to visit. Well, not the whole school but a teacher and 7 students came across from Devonport and spent time working on podcasting with a group of our students from Room 17 | |||
| Episode 22 | Summer Camp | ||
Every Summer since 1991 our senior classes have had a wonderful camping experience, sleeping in tents for a week on the school field. This year the camp was right in the middle of a period of torrential rain and high speed winds! This video was put together by Mr Chung's class of Year 6 students - Room 17 - and you will see that they still managed to enjoy themselves greatly. | |||

The talented team at Pt England have been addressing the age-old issue of rubbish in the school playground by giving it a new twist. One team led by the principal, Russell Burt, created a music track in Garage Band and another team led by the ICT teacher, Helen King, turned it into a video. Students from Year 1 to Year 6 were involved in either the music or the video. | |||

| 2007 and a new school year has begun at Pt England School. Lorenz presents the first episode of kpeTV with a look at the Pt England News Network on the first day of school. You will see some of the teachers and some of the classes as they begin the new year. | |||
| Episode 15 | Light Fantastic - Room 15 | ||
| Room 15 is a Year 5/6 class at Pt England School. During Term 4 they were learning about light in a science unit called 'Light Fantastic'. As part of this they visited the Museum of Transport and Technology. You will find out in this episode that they had a lot of fun along with their learning! | |||

Room 6 is a Year 2 class at Pt England School. During Term 3 they were comparing their houses with others around the world and they were very lucky to have a friend in Ethiopia who emailed them and told them lots about the houses around where she lives. | Our whole school travelled around the world in 80 days last term. Our 5 year olds went to a variety of places to look at some amazing structures that interested them. Heke introduces Episode 12 but the Year One children speak for themselves as they tell you about what they saw and learned on their journey. | |||

Room 9 have been looking at houses around the world and one of the houses they visited was Buckingham Palace. Heke introduces Episode 11 where these year 2 students present to us their own news broadcast which includes an interview with the Queen and a glimpse of palace life. | |||
| Episode 10 | Room 12 Time Travellers | ||
Room 12 have been travelling around the world this term looking at Amazing Structures. One of their first stop offs was at Machu Picchu. They have been so keen to find out more about the place that they got in a time machine and visited during the 1400s to find out how the people lived back them. In this episode you will see one of the students sneaking off during a maths lesson and meeting some interesting people. | |||

| The Year 2 students in Room 8 have been learning how to greet people in Te Reo Maori and they published this video clip to celebrate Maori language week recently. They drew pictures in Kid Pix to illustrate their scenes and recorded a song to accompany it. Ka Pai! Johnny from Room 18 was on hand to present this episode. | |||

| Room 18 have hit the road running in term 3. The teachers have planned fantastic learning experiences and the students have got involved from day one. The senior school spent week one rotating between teachers to benefit from their expertise. Nive and Wilmenna introduce you to 'Around the World in 80 Days' Pt England stylz. Their classes are travelling around the world this term and they are investigating 'Amazing Structures' as they travel. | |||

Learning the scientific process is an important part of the science curriculum, but Mr Chung manages to have a lot of fun with his class at the same time as teaching them some foundation skills. Moli from Room 17 presents one of the sessions their class had recently. Making milkshakes takes on a whole new meaning after you see this clip. | |||

Paulitia from Room 11 is the presenter of kpeTV episode 6. Her Year 3 class went on a science trip to Onehunga High School. They were doing lots of science experiments and where better to find out how the professionals do it than in the lab of a specialist science teacher? It was still holidays for high school students so we were very lucky to have the science teacher, Ms Spencer, spend a day with our team giving us hands on experience in her lab.
