"Go for Green" Film Festival
In Term 4 2008 Pt England School held a Film Festival. The entries were of a very high standard and were judged according to a rubric set by the panel of judges. The theme for the movies was "Go for Green" and there were two categories of entries; Studio entries (which teachers helped with and were mostly class based entries) and Independant entries (which had to be made entirely by students with no adult input).
The films were all played at a public session on Friday December 5 and the Awards were announced at the school prizegiving on Thursday December 11. The Best Film Winners were "Flower Puff Girls" in the Independent category and Room 12's "Don't Cha" in the Studio (teacher assisted) category.
